The 2025 LIV Golf Adelaide tournament, held from February 13 to 16 at The Grange Golf Club in South Australia, concluded with a thrilling finish as Chilean golfer Joaquín Niemann clinched the individual title, while the Fireballs GC team secured the team championship.

Individual Competition:

Joaquín Niemann delivered a remarkable performance, overcoming a three-shot deficit to win with a final score of 13-under-par 203. His final-round 65, featuring a bogey-free back nine, showcased his resilience and skill under pressure. This victory marks Niemann's third LIV Golf event win, adding to his previous successes in Mayakoba and Jeddah.

Team Competition:

In the team event, Fireballs GC, captained by Sergio García, dominated with a total score of 21-under-par. The team's strong performance was bolstered by contributions from David Puig, Abraham Ancer, and newcomer Masaveu. This victory represents Fireballs GC's second team title of the season, following their win in the 2024 LIV Golf Adelaide tournament.

Notable Moments:

The tournament was marked by vibrant celebrations, including a memorable 'shoey'—an Australian tradition where participants drink from a shoe—performed by young fan Beau Franklin and DJ Fisher. Niemann also embraced local culture by sporting a mullet and moustache, drawing inspiration from Australian golfer Cam Smith.
